DOVE VALLEY VINEYARD

One of two licensed wineries in Cecil County, Dove Valley Vineyard & Winery is the first to begin selling to the general public. A tour of the winery shortly after opening in December 2007 shows that the Hepbron family is serious about winemaking, and everyone plays a role! The winery is flanked by about 8 acres of grapes and all of the wine is estate grown, fermented and bottled. Currently, there are several wines being offered for sale: Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Vignoles, Rosé wine,  Dove Valley Red, and Dove Valley Sunset. Each of these wines are now available at Cherry Hill Liquors (call ahead for specific availability). 

The winery's hours are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 11:00am -5:00pm. Appointments can be made for other days by emailing or calling the winery.

Above: Dove Valley's 2007 Pinot Noir in the barrel. It might be noticed that bottles are not vintage dated (i.e. 2006 or 2005). Many wineries find it easier than getting labels continually re-approved. To have to approve every vintage change would increase the cost per bottle!
